AQS

Asset Quality Standard : The description of the accepted asset quality of the Contraload pool.

ASSETS

Different types of load carriers: (plastic) pallets, (plastic) containers for dry bulk and liquids.

CLD

Just short for Contraload

 

CS

Conditioning Service : A location where Contraload inspects, repairs, cleans and/or remanufactures the Contraload assets.

L

Loader : A location where the load is put on/in Contraload assets; usually where Contraload delivers.

LEC

Lost Equipment Charge : Fee charged to a customer that has lost Contraload assets

POOLING

By having more companies using Contraload assets, asset pooling reduces each company’s supply chain costs such as transport costs, quality issues and the stress of managing assets. Asset pooling is seen as a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way to ship goods as sharing asset trips reduces carbon emissions, improves availability and meets the need for improved hygiene.

POOL-IT

The Contraload on-line tracking, ordering and reporting system.

REMANUFACTURING

To reuse the raw materials of our broken assets in our own assets.

STOCK AUDIT

A physical stock count at the factory and/or warehouse of our customer.  At least once a year Contraload organizes a Stock Audit at every location in the Contraload pool.

Unloader : A location where the load is taken off Contraload assets; usually where Contraload collects.
